Austar tipped for NBN deal - SMH

The Sydney Morning Herald brings us some news on the NBN, Austalias high speed broadband network being built by the government owned NBN Co.

In this part of the network, Austar could provide satellite broadband on spare capacity. They have been quoted saying that the additional capacity could be brokered with new modems and ground stations but the satellites already have the spare capacity.
